Restart Firefox by clicking the browser action button or shut down the OS when downloading is finished.

I got so fed up with the reviews from so many idiots that I decided to use this add-on just for myself for the time being. So it's no use if you try to install this addon.














A lot of people people like user 10292680 don't seem to be able to use this. This is because they can't get the add-on up and running because they don't have the necessary knowledge. If you're their kind you won't be able to use this either, so give it up. On the other hand, there are many people who continue to use this. This shows that this add-on works fine. If you are their kind, then you too will be able to use this.
I am not using this add-on and have not used and will not use. Because I do not need this functionality. However, I created this to see if the idea could be realized. But since this is something I don't need, I haven't tested much and for now I have no plans to update or maintain it.

This add-on works only on Windows and Linux (x86 and X86_64). It has only been tested on Windows 10 Pro 1903 64-bit version and Firefox 67, Fedora 30 (32-bit, 64-bit). And it has been tested on only one instance for each OS. Because of this, it may not work in other environments. So don't complain if it doesn't work on your computers. This add-on terminate the browser and newly launch the browser with the help of an application program installed on the computer. So you need to manually install the application program (native application). This may be a bit difficult.

As mentioned, this add-on will not be robust. So, rating one star is fine, but please do not send annoying comments or requests.

You can;
Restart the browser by clicking the browser action button.
Restart the browser from the context menu.
Restart the browser with the shortcut key.
Close the browser from the context menu.

Or you can;
Restart the browser
Close (exit) the browser
Shut down the OS
Restart (reboot) the OS
Suspend the OS
Hibernate the OS
Log out of the OS
Play alarm sound
Execute any other OS commands or applications

on the condition;
At specified time
After specified time has passed
When all downloading is finished (You can limit the number of simultaneous downloads)

if the add-on works as expected.

If your purpose is to reduce memory usage and you don't really need to restart your browser, then you may want to use my other add-on instead of using this. Or try searching in AMO with discard tab or sleep tab or such keywords.
