Freedium v1.1
Tired of scrolling on Medium.com, seeing an interesting article, only to click on it and realize that it's for paid members only and you missed the little star icon? Freedium has the answer.
Freedium scans all of the articles on your medium homepage and removes any paid ones for you so that you aren't even tempted to click on a Member-only article. There are other resources that will allow you to read paid Medium articles for free, but unfortunately (and understandably) these are periodically nuked by the company and therefore I didn't even bother creating such a tool.
WARNING/IMPORTANT
The addon may or may not be initially disabled upon installing Freedium. There is a TOGGLE BUTTON when you open the extension, make sure it is toggled on (the text will say "Toggle Freedium Off" if it is currently on) and if it doesn't work turn it off and turn it back on (yes, seriously, that will fix it). After that you should never have to worry about this again.
Also, this addon does slightly affect the speed in which articles load in. It's not super long but enough to be noticeable when the addon is on versus when the addons off. If this is something that will get on your nerves, I'd suggest not using this addon.
