When opening a video file such as WebM, it gets loop attribute.

Loop playback is enabled by default when opening video files such as WebM.
It does not support videos added after the page load completes and videos on YouTube or Twitter etc.

For the default volume, you can reduce it by changing the value of media.default_volume in about:config.
